About Linn Cole

I discovered hyperbaric oxygen therapy in 2017 on the recommendation of a natural health practitioner. Having had Chronic Fatigue Syndrome since 2011, I default to skepticism when trying new therapies but was delighted by the results I experienced. I’ve now done over 100+ dives and can confidently recommend hyperbaric oxygen as an ongoing wellness tool.

In-chamber, the concentrated oxygen lifts my mood, gives me a more positive outlook, and fosters creativity. In short, it’s just a pleasure being in there.

Outside the chamber, regular sessions allowed me to substantially reduce the sleep aids I need to get decent sleep and facilitated more physical activity. HBOT is not a cure for me, but a potent tool for improving my quality of life.

I’m pleased now to offer hyperbaric oxygen to the public in an area where such a service is in nil supply. Hyperbaric oxygen can be used as a spa service for an occasional self-care treat or health boost for those who benefit from it either on a medium-term or ongoing basis.

SERVICES

Hyperbaric oxygen therapy is breathing greater-than-air oxygen (21%) at greater than 1 atmosphere of pressure. This does two things: 1) increasing the amount of oxygen in red blood cells, and 2) enhancing dissolution of oxygen in blood.

Our soft-shell chamber pressurizes to 1.3 atmospheres. This is known as Mild Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (mHBOT). While in the chamber, you’ll breathe 90+% pure oxygen via a canula.

Potential benefits of mild hyperbaric oxygen therapy include:

  • Enhanced circulation
  • Enhanced delivery of oxygen to tissue
  • Stimulation of tissue recovery after injury
  • Improvement of neurological issues including Parkinson’s, PTSD, mild
  • traumatic brain injury, post-concussion syndrome, and ADHD
  • Reduction in fatigue
