About Deb Moskowitz — N.D.
Dr. Deb spent her childhood solving mysteries, from figuring out the secret behind magic tricks to discovering how clocks ticked. She likes a challenge, and delighted in anything that required a little (or a lot of) extra intellectual or physical effort. An avid reader, she came across her mother’s human physiology book from college and it fueled a fascination for how the body works.
No surprise then that Dr. Deb chose naturopathic medicine as her profession because it focuses on finding the underlying cause and providing treatment that’s in alignment with nature (human physiology, nutrition, diet, genetics, etc.) to achieve health. She also knows that different perspectives on a problem can shed a much-needed light on what’s going on. So she encourages a team approach with her patients and their other wellness providers.
Dr. Deb received her undergraduate degree in Biology and Psychology from Vassar College and her Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine from National College of Naturopathic Medicine in 1993. She worked in the field of biomedical research between college and medical school, and has authored numerous scholarly articles in the field of bio-identical hormones. She also lectured internationally on the use of bio-identical hormones and nutrition for menopause.
To help patients get the support they need to achieve their health goals, Dr. Deb founded Camden Whole Health, an integrative wellness center.
