Women’s Wellness Walk – 5/5

Dr. Katy Morrison, ND LAc, Dr. Kate Killoran, MD, and Mish Sommers of Happier Outside are pleased to announce the spring series of Women’s Wellness Walks! Continuing the tradition from last fall and winter, we’ve been exploring Midcoast Maine with biweekly group hikes for women. We begin with a short presentation on a health-related topic presented by either Dr. Kate or Dr. Katy and then set off as a group! This is a great chance to get to know your local healthcare providers, to strengthen community bonds, and to explore our beautiful Midcoast.

 

Some topics that we’ve covered on our previous walks include:

  • RBG workout: get stronger at any age
  • Tiny habits for lasting change
  • Slowing down for health
  • Explaining pain

Our schedule for the Spring Series is below. We’ll meet at the trailheads at 8:30AM, have a brief presentation and walk together for about 2 hours.

  • May 5th, 2018: Bald Mountain in Hope (meet at the trailhead on Barnestown Rd)
