Dr. Barb brings a unique perspective to your health issues with degrees in naturopathic medicine, acupuncture, and Chinese herbal therapy. She uses conventional and functional lab tests, applied kinesiology, pulse and tongue diagnosis to help understand how you came to develop your health challenges and how to help you resolve them.
You will receive personalized treatment plans that may include nutritional counseling, botanical medicine, nutritional supplements, homeopathic remedies, detoxification protocols, body work such as CranioSacral Therapy or acupuncture and guided imagery.
As the author of “The Breast Cancer Companion: A Complementary Care Manual,” Dr. Barb is regarded as an expert in the field of complementary cancer care for both women and men. She is a member of the Oncology Association of Naturopathic Medicine.
Dr. Barb has a special interest in complex illness and the treatment of those with mast cell disease, difficulty recovering from tick-borne illness, mycotoxin illness, chronic fatigue and pain.
After doing menopause and cancer support at A Woman’s Time in Portland, OR, Dr. Barb returned to her home state of Maine in 2010.
She and her husband are happy to raise their son near her parents in coastal Maine.
